161-186/365 and life lately
161-186/365
I don't know from where to start, It has been a whole month and I haven't blogged, haven't clicked many pictures, life has happened pretty fast here!!
Firstly, My little boy has started his day care for an hour, yes!! he spends an hour without me at his day care, an hour!! Ahh!! when I say that, I feel a little sink in my heart, a flutter, how that happened, how we both transitioned, and how nicely both of us are doing it!! You enjoy being there, initially you did cry and so did I, silently behind the locked door in the corridor, we both felt a piece of our heart being taken away, but then soon things turned around, that tells me ,you are my big beaming boy and I am your strong mamma , God bless you.
secondly, I am back to work again :) .....yes!! and that's the reason why I am not getting to blog lately, I will figure out how to run the show, how to manage my time effectively so that everything gets due attention but for now I am struggling to find time to click pictures and blog, and it breaks my heart a tiny bit, we both were doing a great job of capturing our precious, loving moments, Trust me we will bounce back soon, pretty soon, till then please bear with me !!

Akash's 32nd Birthday!!
My best buddy turned 32 on 20th June!! The best part of marrying your friend is that you never realize that you are getting old, while years come and go just so fast!!
Our day started with a nice and hearty breakfast for Akash served with beautiful fresh flowers ;), then the much awaited Cake cutting, this time I ordered a Chocolate ice-cream roll cake and now that has become our fav, we absolutely love it!! and finally a Photo shoot!!
I am waiting eagerly for Vihaan to grow up and be my charming companion in planning for occasions like these,it will be so much fun doing things together, going market, making plans, and shopping!!

Someday...
Someday….
Someday I
will leave everything behind and never look back…I will move on…with the
thought of seeing the unseen…knowing the unknown…hearing the unheard…speaking
the unspoken…someday…I will vanish just like that!!
But I won't be far away…
I will be nearby...you will find me in the tiny bulb
pushing its way out through the heart of earth…or may in the fragrance of a new
bloom….in the green of the newly emerged leaflet…in the glistening water of a
unruly river…you will find me in the sweetness of a beehive… you will hear my
melody in a mocking bird!!
Someday… :)

Our most valuable treasure- Our Relationships!!
If you have a plant at home… you
won’t just keep it all decked up in the balcony or in some corner of the house…It's not about mere possession... rather you
will ensure that you take best care of it, you will take appropriate steps for its
survival and then it’s continued healthy growth… for that you need to know it
well because different plants have different requirements…what goes for one won’t
go for everyone. You will make sure it gets proper lighting, just right amount
of water, sufficient nutrients, proper handling, adequate air circulation…you will
dedicate your daily scheduled time for its well being, isn't it??!!
Well, same goes for our relationships also…they
also need our time, our support, our understanding to grow and bloom!! and the sooner we get it the better it is, because, deep down...oblivious to the naked eyes.. if the root dies, the plant will wilt away too..if the impact is deeper, than nothing you do superficially will save it from dying away...!!!
it is the root, that nourishes the whole plant, that anchors it to the soil, that stimulates the growth...and root is deep down...undergoing a lot, all by itself..!!

This is my fav picture so far...You and me, looking at each other...sharing a beautiful moment, so brief, so subtle, so precious...and I am preserving it forever here!!
Often I am busy with my own mundane stuff...at times so lost in these trivial things that I loose context of time and place and then you come to me, tilt your head and say "Mamaa" and it brings me back to the reality, to present, and I am awaken to this beautiful feeling that you are here, with me...a wonderful miracle in front of me, talking to me...and it brings tears to my eyes...tears of joy, of profound satisfaction, just like a stream of water released from the grip of winter, it melts me slowly like a glacial melting drop by drop trickling down by the overhead summer sun !!
I love you and I want to tell you that I will always be here, by your side, no matter what you do, we are a family and family is always there for you , emotionally, physically, always there to love you, to forgive you, to tell you wonderful things, to listen to your stories as well!!
Photography credit goes to your dad :) !!

Vihaan's first birthday
We are back in Mumbai and it feels like I have to start all over again, everything seems to be a mammoth task, anyways I will talk about that in a different post, this post is dedicated to my darling Vihaan, you turned 1 on March 26th...
My charming, you grew cell by cell, inch by inch day after day from my sap...oblivious to the outer world, you remained safe in the warm waters of my womb....in the darkness but not ignorance... for 9 months, yet you were not alone, you knew me...you are the only one who listened to my beat from inside, from that beat, we two developed a thread of communication...you danced to my tunes, you kicked me hard in the ribs and you responded whenever I asked you something, we were together day and night...we were inseparable!!!
and now here you are, 1 year old boy!! grown up but still a little baby who tries to catch a stream of water with his hands and coos in excitement as the water rushes down leaving his hands wet and empty... boy who looks at starry sky with joy and who cries a bucket when I don't pick him up... who now knows how to throw a tantrum!!!
Though We couldn't do much for your birthday as your dad's Paternal Aunt Expired 3 days before the birthday, We celebrated with the kids in the Orphanage, gifted them few things and arranged for a breakfast. back home we clicked few pictures while you were busy smearing your own customized cake all over the floor.
I love you my darling and wish you a very happy birthday...

Some Bum Charm ;)
Around here, we are learning new things everyday,
Let's quickly get to the story behind this bum charm....there is a very sweet comely boy in our society "Arokya", I spotted him in his cool pants while he was hopping and running in his own world in the park couple of days back, he had very cute animal patches on his bum and his mother "Mala" told me that they have a complete set of these pants...I Absolutely fell in love with his pants.
I wanted something like that for Vihaan as well, so I ripped some patches from Vihaan's old clothes that no longer fit him and stitched them on the pants...since we do not have a sewing machine at home, we had to do it with hands :( but we enjoyed.
Vihaan was happy posing for pictures...it was kinda funny, I was after his bum with my lens...

A picture a day series.
we are travelling by the end of this month, Vihaan's 1st birthday will be celebrated in Akash's hometown where both grandparents will join us, every one is excited about the occasion.
As we are travelling ,I wanted a personalized travel bag for Vihaan but couldn't buy one as I actually splurged at lot on his clothing :o well then I thought of customizing one at home, we had a spare strolley, I stamp printed it and made some customized name tags as well...
Vihaan was happy being surrounded by the craft supplies and playing with color pencils.
Here are few captures
